Work in Network Systems Technology

The national demand for information technology specialists is projected to grow tremendously over the next few years, with almost half of these new jobs requiring the training and skills of a network specialist. With EFSC's A.S. Degree in Network Systems Technology, you will be trained to design, administer, maintain and support local and wide area computer network systems.

This cutting-edge program also includes three areas of specialization: Network Security/Cybersecurity, Network Virtualization and Network Infrastructure.  Industry certifications are associated with these programs. Graduates will be qualified for technological roles in network design, network installation and maintenance, inter-network communication and connectivity, network administration, computer installation, and maintenance and repair. Courses in the program are helpful for students who wish to seek Industry Certifications in CCNA, CompTIA A+, Network +, Security +, and Microsoft MCP.

Professional & Career Development Options
