A.A. Pathway to a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice

This transfer GPS prepares students to pursue a four-year degree in Criminal Justice at a Florida public university or Florida College System (FCS) institution. Students are encouraged to complete the recommended transfer GPS that will support their intended baccalaureate degree program. 

A criminal justice degree can be part of the academic preparation for many rewarding careers, including working as a Correctional Officer, Corrections Counselor, Court Clerk, Court Reporter, Criminal Investigator, FBI Agent, Forensic Psychologist, Forensic Science Specialist, Lawyer, Paralegal , Probation Officer, Police/Law Enforcment Officer, Private Investigator, Security Officer, Substance Abuse Counselor, Transportation Security Screener and U.S. Marshall.

The courses listed in the criminal justice plan are common prerequisites, which are required for a criminal justice or criminology major at the university or state college level.
