Do you have the power to reach your dreams?

Author Nathaniel Hawthorne observed that words are "innocent and powerless" in a dictionary but "potent" in the hands of those who "know how to combine them." Communication courses hone skills in writing, reading, speaking, critical thinking, and foreign languages, empowering students to better express their ideas and preparing them for success in any career.

Meet Karen Cuda

Assistant Professor of English

I’m very proud to be a part of the EFSC Communications Program. Many of our courses are required because they provide essential experience in both verbal and written communication skills. Regardless of a student’s future goals, being able to communicate effectively is vital to success, so the instructors feel great satisfaction and responsibility as they work with students pursuing their dreams.
