Go Higher Workshops for High School Seniors

Whether you have already taken classes at Eastern Florida or have never stepped foot on a college campus, our Go Higher workshops — led by EFSC enrollment experts — provide valuable info on the application process, how to transition from dual enrollment to regular student status, financial aid, and more.

All 2021 workshop dates have now passed. Please check back for info about future workshops.

In the meantime, if you'd like assistance with the college application process, please make an appointment with our Outreach Specialist, Myron Campbell. You can also visit our Class of 2021 web page for additional resources on making the transition from high school to college or check out our Summer Kick Start workshops for incoming students.

Go Higher Workshop Descriptions

We'll provide more details later this year when we're ready to launch our workshops for the Class of 2022. Until then, here's an idea of how our Go Higher events can help you with the transition to college.

Go Higher, Get Accepted

This workshop is for high school seniors new to EFSC or students who participated in a dual enrollment program during 10th or 11th grade but are not part of a dual enrollment program during their senior year. Each year, we have helped hundreds of seniors just like you complete their EFSC application through our GHGA program.

Participants can expect to:

  • Create an account with EFSC
  • Complete and submit the application
  • Gain an understanding of the next steps
  • Review the Senior Success Checklist
